Our Core Promise

Your body, your data, your choice. CycleLife exists to serve you — not advertisers, not data brokers, not anyone else. We're funded by subscriptions, so our only incentive is to earn and keep your trust.

What We Collect

What data does CycleLife collect?

An email and account credentials so you can sign in. Anything you log (cycles, symptoms, journal, calculator history) stays on your device by default. If you turn on cloud sync, we receive an encrypted blob — never the raw entries.

Do you track my location?

No. We never request, store, or infer your physical location.

What about my community posts?

Posts you publish in community circles are stored as written so others can read them. You can post under a handle that doesn't reveal your real name, and you can delete your posts at any time.

How We Store It

Where is my data stored?

Account data lives on managed cloud infrastructure. Health entries live on your device, plus an optional encrypted backup if you opt in.

Is my health data encrypted?

Yes. AES-256-GCM, with a key derived from your passphrase on your device. We never see the key.

Can CycleLife employees read my data?

No. Without your passphrase, your encrypted entries look like random noise to us — and we don't have your passphrase.

What We Never Do

Do you sell my data?

Never. Not to anyone, for any price.

Do you share data with advertisers?

Never. CycleLife runs zero ad SDKs and zero tracking pixels.

Do you share data with law enforcement?

Only when compelled by a valid legal order, and only data we actually have. For encrypted entries, that's ciphertext we cannot decrypt.

Do you use my data to train AI?

No. Your entries are never used to train any model. AI features pass your prompts through providers under contracts that forbid training.

Your Rights

Can I delete all my data?

Yes. Settings → Privacy → "Delete everything" wipes your account, your cloud backup, and your sign-in. Or use "Erase this device" to clear just this browser.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Download a portable JSON export — optionally encrypted with a passphrase — at any time.

What happens if I cancel my subscription?

You keep access to free features. Your data stays put unless you choose to export, erase, or delete it.

Community Privacy

How does community anonymity work?

Pick a handle and an avatar that aren't your real name. Your real identity is never displayed in circles.

Can other users find my real identity?

No. Email and profile fields are not visible to other members.

Can moderators see who I am?

Moderators see your handle and the posts you publish — the same view everyone else has. Only platform admins can resolve a handle to an account, and only when investigating a reported safety issue.
